Description

Borage Oil is a well known skin nurturing carrier oil rich in therapeutically active ingredients like essential fatty acids, omega-6 EFA gamma linolenic acid (GLA), vitamins, and minerals. Borago officinalis is the botanical name of Borage Oil which is extracted from Seeds using Cold Pressing. Borage Carrier Oil has been used in aromatherapy and natural skin care to aid many skin conditions such as eczema.


Borage Oil is also known as Starflower Oil that has excellent moisturizing and revitalizing properties that can be used to fight the loss of skin elasticity as well as tone and revitalize tired, dull, dry complexions. Borage seed oil also helps to encourage mobile joints, tissue.

Botanical Name: Borago officinalis.

Common Uses: It is suitable for all skin types and is commonly used in the manufacturing of skin care products and also by massage therapists.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply 2–4 drops directly to desired area.


Cautions:


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
