Description

Cubeb Oil is well known for its amazing therapeutic properties. Piper cubeba is the botanical name of Cubeb Essential Oil which is extracted from the dried Cubeb berries of the Cubeb plant through steam distillation. Since Cubeb belongs to the pepper family, it is a perfect choice for use after a strenuous workout or on achy joints from normal aging for warming relief.


It is energizing to the senses and is an excellent addition in your favorite DIY cleaning products. When discomfort arrives due to the menstrual cycle, it can be used topically when diluted with your favorite carrier oil for some much-needed comfort.

Botanical Name: Piper cubeba.

Aromatic Description: It has a warm-woody, spicy and slightly camphoraceous aroma.


Strength of Aroma: Medium.


Family: Piperaceae.


Consistency: Thick.


Color: Pale green or bluish.


Blends Well With: Cubeb Oil blends well with most oils, but particularly well with cardamom, rosemary, frankincense, sandalwood, geranium, ylang-ylang, lemon, jasmine, bergamot, rose and lavender for diffusion.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.


Cautions: 


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
