Description

Dill Seed Oil is an ideal household essential oil which is so effective during times of worry and tension. Anethum graveolens is the botanical name of Dill Seed Oil which is extracted from the crushed seeds through Steam Distillation. It has a fresh, sweet, herbaceous, grass-like aroma that is considered stimulating, revitalizing and balancing.

Dill is an annual herb in the same family as celery and a popular culinary herb in many countries, particularly in Europe.

Botanical Name: Anethum graveolens.

Collection Method: Steam Distilled.

Aromatic Description: It has a spicy, fresh, sweet aroma.

Strength of Aroma: Medium.

Plant Family: Apiaceae.

Consistency: Thin.

Color: Clear.

Blends Well With: Dill Seed Oil blends well with most oils, but particularly well with jasmine, cajeput, lemon, petitgrain, carrot seed, fennel sweet, elemi, star anise, orange sweet and geranium for diffusion.

Directions for Use:

  •  Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
  •  Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.

Cautions: 
If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
