Description

Balsam Fir Needle Oil is a restorative, revitalizing and strengthening essential oil that is beneficial for the respiratory system and for treating fatigue as well as sore muscles. Abies balsamea is the botanical name of Fir Needle Oil which is extracted from the needles of the evergreen tree (Fir) through Steam Distillation. It has a fresh, woody and earthy aroma that is known for its calming and relaxing properties.

Fir Needle Oil is mostly used in massage because it has a soothing effect on muscle and body discomfort related to exercise. It can help promote feelings of easy breathing while calming the emotions and providing a grounding effect.

Blends Well With: Fir Needle Oil blends well with most oils, but particularly well with sandalwood, frankincense, myrrh, lavender, pine, rosemary, cedarwood, benzoin, eucalyptus and spruce for diffusion.

Directions for Use:

  •  Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
  •  Topical: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.

Cautions: 
If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
