Description

Flax Seed Oil is also known as Linseed Oil which is one of the few carrier oils that has a high content of the omega-3 fatty acid, alpha-linolenic acid, which is essential for healthy skin. Linunm usitatissimum is the botanical name of Flax Seed Oil which is cold pressed from the dried, ripened seeds of the flax plant. It has a slightly nutty fragrance that can compromise or even overwhelm if blended with more subtle aromatherapy essential oils like Neroli Oil.


Flax Seed Carrier Oil is a natural moisturiser which makes it ideal for tired, neglected skin showing the effects of overwork or stress.

Botanical Name: Linunm usitatissimum.


Collection Method: Cold Pressed.


Aromatic Description: It has a slightly nutty aroma.


Plant Part: Seeds.


Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow.


Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.


Origin: India.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice. Diffuse up to one hour three times daily.


. Topical use: Apply 2-4 drops directly to desired area. Dilution not required except for the most sensitive skin.


Cautions: 


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor's care, consult physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
