Lavender Oil is the most versatile of all Essential Oils which exhilarates the mind and body. Lavandula angustifolia is the botanical name of Lavender Oil which is extracted through the flowers by steam distillation method. It has rich, sweet-herbaceous fragrance that is soothing and refreshing. Because of its versatile properties it is often considered a must-have oil to keep on hand at all times.


Lavender Essential Oil has calming and relaxing properties that promotes peaceful sleep as well as helps ease feelings of tension. In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used Lavender Oil for bathing, relaxation and as a perfume.

Botanical Name: Lavandula angustifolia.


Collection Method: Steam Distillation.


Aromatic Description: It has a sweet, light, herbaceous, dry, floral, fresh & clean aroma.


Strength of Aroma: Strong.


Plant Part: Flowering tops.


Color: Clear.


Consistency: Thin.


Main Constituents: Linalool, linalyl acetate.


Blends Well With: Geranium, vetiver, patchouli, bergamot, lemon, clary sage, rose absolute, cedarwood, neroli, helichrysum and other florals.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area.


Cautions:


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
