Description

Lemongrass Essential Oil is a favorite oil for purifying and toning the Skin. Cymbopogon citratus is the botanical name of Lemongrass Oil which is extracted through the leaves and woody stalks of the lemongrass plant by steam distillation method. It has a subtle citrus-herb fragrance that can heighten awareness and promote a positive outlook.


Because of its purifying qualities it is frequently used in skin care products. Lemongrass Oil is well known as being a helpful addition to outdoor sprays as well as ideal to use in massage therapy.

Botanical Name: Cymbopogon citratus.

Aromatic Description: It has a lemony, herbaceous and sweet aroma.

Blends Well With: Cedarwood, thyme, bergamot, citronella, rosemary, lemon, geranium, palmarosa and carrot seed.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area.


Cautions:


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
