Description

Niaouli Essential Oil is well known for respiratory support, especially during seasonal pollen threats. Melaleuca viridiflora (also known as Melaleuca quinquenervia) is the botanical name of Niaouli Oil which is extracted from the young leaves and twigs through the steam distillation process. It has a slightly sweet, fresh, medicinal aroma presenting a middle scent note.


Niaouli Oil is also useful in skin care, especially in the case of blemishes or in minor scratches or scrapes. It can also be an adjunct when added to a blend for the aches and pains related to aging.

Botanical Name: Melaleuca viridiflora or Melaleuca quinquenervia.

Blends Well With: Niaouli Oil blends well with most oils, but particularly well with eucalyptus, cedarwood, peppermint, coriander, pine, cypress, rosemary, tea tree, cajeput, lavendin, fennel, juniper and spruce hemlock for diffusion.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.


Cautions: 


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with the eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
