Description

Palmarosa Oil is an excellent skin-balancing essential oil suitable for all skin types. Cymbopogon martini is the botanical name of Palmarosa Essential Oil which is extracted from the dried grass by steam distillation. It has a soft, sweet floral aroma that can be stimulating and soothing when diffused.


It is often used as an ingredient of soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics. Palmarosa Oil is also a wonderful essential oil to consider pulling out of the oil box when seasonal illness strikes. It is also sometimes called East Indian and Turkish geranium, as well as Indian rosha and motia.

Botanical Name: Cymbopogon martini.

Aromatic Description: It has a soft, green, sweet, rosy floral aroma.

Blends Well With: Palmarosa Oil blends well with lemongrass, geranium, cedarwood, bergamot, neroli, rosemary, ylang-ylang, lemon, petitgrain, rose absolute, peppermint and patchouli for diffusion.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.


Cautions: 


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult the physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
