Spikenard Essential Oil is also known as Nard or Indian Nard which is soothing to the senses and blends well with other oils. Nardostachys jatamansi is the botanical name of Spikenard Oil which is extracted from the roots of the plant through steam distillation. It has a woodsy, earthy, warm fragrance with a hint of sweet and spicy is a dream to the senses.

Spikenard Oil is an exceptional essential oil for skin, hair and deodorizing odors. It is a powerful oil that has a variety of uses. Spikenard Essential Oil is used in aromatherapy for its ability to create a sense of peacefulness and relaxation. It has been valued for centuries, traditionally used to anoint people of high honor and in the Ayurvedic health practices of India. Today, the oil is commonly used in perfumes and relaxing massage oils for its woody, musty aroma.
