Thyme Oil is a strong, warm essential oil that holds powerful cleansing as well as purifying properties for the skin. Thymus vulgaris is the botanical name of Thyme Oil which is extracted from the flowering tops and leaves through steam distillation. It has a dry, warm, herbaceous and slightly-peppery aroma that is both powerful as well as penetrating.


It contains large amounts of Thymol which is known as a medicinal herb since ancient times. For centuries, Thyme has been used for its remarkable natural properties. The Ancient Egyptians used it in their embalming rites while the Greeks used it in their baths and burn Thyme as an incense in their temples.

Directions for Use:


. Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.


. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.


Cautions: 


If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult the physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
