Description

Spruce Hemlock Essential Oil is used in aromatherapy as a nerve tonic and to help relieve joint as well as muscle pain associated with strains, sprains, and rheumatoid arthritis. Tsuga canadensis is the botanical name of Spruce Oil which is extracted from the needles and twigs through Steam Distillation. It has an attractive balsamic scent that is sweet with light fruity notes.

Botanical Name: Tsuga canadensis.

Collection Method: Steam Distilled.

Plant Part: Needles and Twigs.

Aromatic Description: It has a fresh, woody, balsamic and earthy aroma.

Strength of Aroma: Medium.

Consistency: Thin.

Color: Clear.

Blends Well With: Spruce Hemlock Oil blends well with most oils, but particularly well with lavandin, rosemary, cedarwood, clary sage, galbanum, pine, benzoin, and lavender for diffusion.

Directions for Use:

  •  Diffusion: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of your choice.
  •  Topical use: Apply one to two drops to the desired area.

Cautions: 
If pregnant, nursing or under a doctor’s care, consult a physician. Discontinue use if skin sensitivity occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Do not use undiluted on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on broken skin or on abrasions.
